Hi,
I am a bit confused whether to get Tula ftg or standard. My baby is 3 months old weighing 8 kg and 68cm tall which is almost the same size as 7 months old baby. I am considering a standard Tula but I am also planning to have another baby in coming years. Should I go for standard one or ftg? Thanks.

Hello! You baby will not be able to fit into the Standard without an infant insert at 4 months. If your intention is to use the carrier right away, my suggestion is to go for the FTG. You could get a Standard + Infant insert and ditch the insert after a few months, but the use of insert isn't as comfortable or easy to grasp as compared to using an FTG.

Hello! Your boy won't be able to fit in Standard without infant insert at 4.5 months. And it's not true that you need to 'change' to Standard soon if you get an FTG now. There are many mummies who find FTG comfortable even when baby is after a year old. It depends on how long you carry and your baby's weight too. If you won't be using the carrier now, why not buy just before you travel? Then you can try the carrier on and see if the FTG or Standard works better for you. Some babies don't fit into the Standard without insert until 7-8 months too. As for how to pick a design, it depends on your own preference!
